St Leonard's Church Young People

Growing together, sharing ideas, discussing the world around you, being in a safe place where you can express your thoughts, exploring the bible and most importantly, having FUN!
This is what being part of St Leonard’s youth is all about.

Cell Groups

Cell groups are our weekly small groups. They are aimed at people who are Christian or who have an interest in learning more about the Christian faith.
"Chilled, Christian Get Together in which we discuss our opinions and thoughts on life and our religion :)"– Izzy

Friday Pathfinders

Church on a Sunday doesn't have to be boring! On Sundays we run 2 different groups that explore the Christian faith and try to help us get involved with Sunday morning church.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday we run 2 morning youth groups. One for people in years 7-9 and one for people in years 10-13.

Trips Away

We arrange two brilliant trips away every year.

We have a team of Volunteers who help to host and run the work that we do with young people. The work that we do would not be possible without this committed team of Volunteers. They are the backbone of everything we do and they help make the youth work what it is.
If you would like to join this team, to help out in any way, please contact the church office using the Contact Us form below.

“The adult leaders are cool and fun to have around and the sixth form leader people are awesome too. All the leaders are willing to take part in the activities too” – Katie Steele

What do we do?

“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” - Matthew 18 vs. 20
St. Leonard's Church Youth Work exists to encourage the young people of Eynsham to meet with Jesus Christ! We believe that God meets us in a special way when we are together, so everything we do in our youth work is underpinned by a sense 'doing things together' and being in community.
If young people are going to meet with God, it has to be real and relevant to their real lives. We can’t make anyone meet with Jesus, the Holy Spirit does that, all we can do is provide spaces for them that encourage them to engage with Him.
